It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eternal Doll was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Gertrude Germann Zed, Stenium, Bakaxel Opal, Thrown Away, Hledìt Kupøedu, Starshine Moon, Poggio Climb, Eternal Doll.




Thrown Away sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Thrown Away today. It continued in the lead.




Thrown Away didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Thrown Away were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Eternal Doll won the race after a spectacular finish.
