One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bridge took the lead after a very quick start. Love My Quebec was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Ei Arvoitus, Semblable Fête, Rotture Di Angelo, Delightful Rocket, Vont, So Damn Brilliant, Summer Memory, Flying Empire.

Rotture Di Angelo sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Bridge galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Flying Empire accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Vont suddenly took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Vont galoped for 20 m. Vont kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Vont didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
