Only a humble breeze blew over Halmstad this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Running Sound took the lead after a very quick start. Dan-Åke Olsson wanted a little to much in the start and Sultan Bayezid galoped for 40 m. Abwehr Larockma was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Claretta was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Abwehr Larockma saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Skumtomte Opal sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Running Sound galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Skumtomte Opal followed by Abwehr Larockma and Exhale. Lane two Ojsan Ikappsprungen followed by Claretta and Sultan Bayezid.

With only a little left of the race Sultan Bayezid galoped for 40 m. Ojsan Ikappsprungen suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Exhale galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Abwehr Larockma sprinted over the finishline before Le Petite Croque and Running Sound.
