One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pineapple Honeysuckle tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Smiling Lady that came steaming ahead.




Pineapple Honeysuckle quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Fair Nova took the lead after 1000m. Pineapple Honeysuckle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Fair Nova today. It continued in the lead.



Fair Nova kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Fair Nova. Smiling Lady came in second. Pineapple Honeysuckle became third.
