One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Dust Lady tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sudden Biscuit that came steaming ahead. Bergvall The Man was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Floating Velvet was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Cygnus Atratus quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Bergvall The Man sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Cygnus Atratus accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Cygnus Atratus was still in the lead after 2000m.



Cygnus Atratus sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Gold Dust Lady sprinted over the finishline before Sudden Biscuit and Cygnus Atratus.
