The weather had been good all week and Leangen was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

License To Sneeze could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Golden Gossip, Zdeněk, Rightwinger, Intelligent Beard, Gorgeous Sun, Bulgogi, License To Sneeze, Golden Winter.

Rightwinger sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. License To Sneeze suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rightwinger today. It continued in the lead.

Tender Crusher was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Rightwinger looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Rightwinger kept the speed the whole finish and won before Golden Gossip and Intelligent Beard.
