The weather had been good all week and Mantorp was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starstruck Hollywood tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Southern Sun that came steaming ahead.




Blackspot Sergeant saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Blackspot Sergeant clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Southern Sun looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Gone Wrong gallopped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Hoping General gallopped for 50 m.



Hoping General galloped way to long and was disqualified. Southern Sun were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Starstruck Hollywood never caught up with Southern Sun who won. Oconomowoc came third.
