One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cantieristica Navale could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Famous Glam sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Françoise accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Famous Glam galloped for 30 m.



Gorgeous Daffodil galloped way to long and was disqualified. Françoise sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Françoise didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
