The weather had been good all week and Visby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ready For Takeoff was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Buiron saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Buiron was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Buiron was still in the lead after 1500m. Nessla Ruffstuff galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Buiron sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Calming Beard won. Ready For Takeoff came in second. Victory Trot caught third place.
