The weather had been good all week and Tingsryd was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Butterbean took the lead after a very quick start. Butterbean was in fine shape and held the lead. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Styxon Ciniferalis galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Butterbean was still in the lead after 1500m. Butterbean started to gallop after 1500m and Stefan Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Silver Needle galloped for 10 m. D-quilanie galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Butterbean kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. No-one could catch Butterbean today who won before Silver Needle and Fantastico. Results
