Only a humble breeze blew over Bjerke this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sliding Pirate could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Queen Cora Koko followed by Opstille and Rugged Satellite. Lane two Sliding Pirate followed by Saara and Gone Going.



With only a little left of the race Gone Going galoped for 20 m. Opstille looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Rugged Satellite didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
