Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Igloo tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to New Pony that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




New Pony was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




New Pony was still in the lead after 1500m.




New Pony kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



New Pony were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






New Pony didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
