The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were My Galloping Dream. Amleth ended up behind the leader. Jolly Mistress got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Walking Cupcake started to galop and lost 20 m. Brorsan Zed was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Brorsan Zed looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that My Galloping Dream couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nivala Aili.
