One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Estrella found a gap and took the lead. Van Paesschen followed before Xal The Necromancer.




Estrella was in fine shape and held the lead.




Estrella clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Estrella today. It continued in the lead.



Estrella looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Van Paesschen never caught up with Estrella who won. Xal The Necromancer came third.
