One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Red Venus. Dead Sound ended up behind the leader. Red Hope got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
Vanheden Superior saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Vanheden Superior clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vanheden Superior followed by Falling Moment and Hard
Rocket. Lane two Dead Sound followed by Red Hope and Red Venus.
Vanheden Superior kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Vanheden Superior kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Dead Sound was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.
Red Hope sprinted over the finishline before Hard
Rocket and Falling Moment.
