Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Amazing Crystal. Pointing Godiva ended up behind the leader. Lowell got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pointing Godiva sprinted to the front. The leader got disturbed by something and Love My Work took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Love My Work today. It continued in the lead. Pointing Godiva put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Pointing Godiva was safely in the lead after 2500m. Pointing Godiva kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Lowell sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
