The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Leangen today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





New York City took the lead after a very quick start.




Flower Fox quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. New York City showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Light Wave sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Eliaquim looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Light Wave galoped for 20 m. Eliaquim sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Guénot won. Eliaquim came in second. Aldo caught third place.
