One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Lafrenière sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Draisaitl Pegasos, Peroteaux, Steel Strategy, Why Not Today, Lafrenière, , , . Steel Strategy took the lead after 1000m. Peroteaux didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Why Not Today looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Why Not Today sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Lafrenière sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
