Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Oviken track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eberbach Larockma was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Eberbach Larockma started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Viking America took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Viking America today. It continued in the lead.



Viking America looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Wolly Electra made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Viking America.
