One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Second Molecule Man. Brave Sunshine ended up behind the leader. Clever Lion got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Platinum Body sprinted to the front.

Second Molecule Man took the lead after 1000m. Brave Sunshine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Second Molecule Man followed by Confident Motor and Platinum Body. Lane two Clever Lion followed by Brave Sunshine and Vichy.

Second Molecule Man was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Confident Motor galoped for 20 m. Second Molecule Man kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Second Molecule Man today who won before Vichy and Clever Lion.
