The weather had been good all week and Leangen was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Poom Moot found a gap and took the lead. Rumbling Body followed before Athirappilly. When the startcar left the field Athirappilly started to galop and lost 40 m. Jolly Bouquet was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Decisive Rocker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Athirappilly looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Poom Moot couldn't come out from behind the leader, Decisive Rocker.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Decisive Rocker today. It continued in the lead.

Poom Moot put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Light Wave gallopped 10 m after 2000m.

Poom Moot were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Odd Arne Sagholen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Jolly Bouquet started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Winner of todays race was Poom Moot. Decisive Rocker came in second. Rumbling Body became third.
