One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Deborgies. Enough Already Law ended up behind the leader. Sénac got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Carlos General started to galop and lost 40 m.

Anfertigen Es Zweimal saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Force Bizarre who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Jellybean Moussolou looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tropical Orchid couldn't come out from behind the leader, Anfertigen Es Zweimal.

Anfertigen Es Zweimal was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lapti-nek Moussolou gallopped for 50 m.

Anfertigen Es Zweimal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Island Queen sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
