The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sowing Lemonade sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Saturday Funday suddenly started to galop. Birger Jörgensen had to struggle to get Saturday Funday to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




Adalicia quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Saturday Funday took the lead after 1000m. Adalicia didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nordic Light was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Adalicia accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Saturday Funday galloped for 20 m.



Adalicia sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Lindo Pero Peligroso sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
