One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Funky Beat was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Voor Wijk Mij started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Bringing The Heat, Smicer De Sticky, Jolly Nutcracker, Starstruck Pie, Olga Korbut Lore, Ayla, Ginger Belle, Fabien.

Starstruck Pie sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Funky Beat galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Bringing The Heat looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Starstruck Pie showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Bringing The Heat was still in the lead after 2000m.

Bringing The Heat were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Bringing The Heat galop. Bringing The Heat lost 10 m.

Smicer De Sticky won the race after a spectacular finish.
