Il Sole found a gap and took the lead. Trombone followed before Sad Lovebreaker.




Trombone quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Sad Lovebreaker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Il Sole looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sad Lovebreaker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Trombone.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Trombone followed by Sad Lovebreaker and Adalicia. Lane two Il Sole followed by Punching Boulder and Perfect Crystal.



Trombone looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Il Sole sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
