One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rocking Hyena sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Riff Opal saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Rocking Hyena to trotting so they were disqualified. Salesse started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sowing Dancer took the lead after 1000m. Riff Opal didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Riff Opal looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Riff Opal sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Sowing Dancer was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Riff Opal kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Riff Opal today who won before Estermoler Cherry and Klipsteins Law.
