One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Alexandrié took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Pozzecco sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Beautiful Queen galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Alexandrié accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Alexandrié sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Alexandrié. Pozzecco came in second. Beautiful Queen became third.
