The weather had been good all week and Lahti was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Betula Ermanii Japonica could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Francena quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Francena was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Francena today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Lutike galoped for 10 m. Francena kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Potenz Trittst made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Francena.
