The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Årjäng today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fast Fist was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Fast Fist was in fine shape and held the lead.




Paleoproterozoic took the lead after 1000m. Fast Fist didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Paleoproterozoic today. It continued in the lead.




Paleoproterozoic sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Paleoproterozoic galoped for 50 m. Fast Fist suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
