One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Xabier took the lead after a very quick start. Magnus Jakobsson wanted a little to much in the start and Slow Pirate galoped for 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Xabier was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Xabier was still in the lead after 1500m.



Xabier kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Xabier was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Slow Pirate didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
