It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pinpoint was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Dead Satellite saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Floating Mistress who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Running Sergeant sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Running Sergeant today. It continued in the lead.




Running Sergeant didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Scarlet Hollywood galoped for 20 m. Dead Satellite litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Pinpoint sprinted over the finishline before Running Sergeant and Dead Satellite.
