One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Poggio Climb could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. William Ekberg wanted a little to much in the start and Power Sniper galoped for 50 m.




Running Sergeant saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Running Sergeant clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Running Sergeant today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Poggio Climb gallopped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Power Sniper gallopped for 50 m.



Running Sergeant kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Gattuso galop. Gattuso lost 20 m.




Tripaldelli won. Running Sergeant came in second. Perfect Dream caught third place.
