One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Dead Sound was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Potenz Benutzer was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Brown Bullet sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Knuckles Moussolou looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
