One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grinderman tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Frassinetti that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Frassinetti was still in the lead after 1500m.




Frassinetti kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Riccardi was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Frassinetti sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Grinderman sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
