The sun was shining on Joensuu today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rosso Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Gasol suddenly started to galop. Jani Hartikainen had to struggle to get Gasol to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




The leader got disturbed by something and Repeat Pete Pete took the lead rather easily.




Rosso Star looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Repeat Pete Pete galloped for 50 m.




Repeat Pete Pete took the lead. Rosso Star was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race Repeat Pete Pete galoped for 50 m. Gasol was first on the homestretch followed by Rosso Star and Repeat Pete Pete.






Rosso Star sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
