One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rumbling Ship was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Don't Be Scared started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Running Sergeant sprinted to the front. C U Later Alligator started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Styxon Ciniferalis was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Gourmand looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Thrown Away couldn't come out from behind the leader, Running Sergeant. Mitezoya was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Rumbling Ship was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Front Sniper was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Gourmand looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stunning Ballerina couldn't come out from behind the leader, Running Sergeant.

Rumbling Ship sprinted over the finishline before Stunning Ballerina and Thrown Away.
