The sun was shining on Rovaniemi today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Unlucky tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Orkaan Uitloper that came steaming ahead.




Bluestar quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Orkaan Uitloper took the lead after 1000m. Hipan Nestori didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nessla Unlucky accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Orkaan Uitloper suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Nessla Unlucky sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
