It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Crucq. Athletic Bandwith ended up behind the leader. Ivory Sunray got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Sad Stardust was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. driver couldn't keep Lauge to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Athletic Bandwith took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Athletic Bandwith followed by Ivory Sunray and Vision From Above. Lane two Crucq followed by Sad Stardust and Éclair Blanc.



Athletic Bandwith sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Lauge galop. Lauge lost 20 m.




Ivory Sunray never caught up with Athletic Bandwith who won. Crucq came third.
