The weather had been good all week and Solänget was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lucky Gold took the lead after a very quick start. Kevin Porshage wanted a little to much in the start and Ivory Runaway galoped for 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nessla Van Bronckhorse followed by Falling Moment and Joyride Law. Lane two Olivia Hoff followed by Lucky Gold and Sneaky Striker. Typhoon Rebel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Nessla Van Bronckhorse looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Nessla Van Bronckhorse kept the speed the whole finish and won before Falling Moment and Olivia Hoff.
