One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Canis Opal was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Starstruck Diva saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Starstruck Diva was still in the lead after 1500m.

Coughing Dream took the lead.

Starstruck Diva was first on the homestretch followed by Coughing Dream and Canis Opal.

Kiwi Lore galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Nessla Raised Fist was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Canis Opal sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
