Only a humble breeze blew over Romme this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Commotion Cherry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




For Greater Glory saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Montana Magpie was disturbed and galoped 50 m. In The Gun showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Ver Claramente looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. For Greater Glory started to gallop after 1500m and Sybille Tinter had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Tough Box speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Roberts Celebration galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Tough Box didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
