Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Leangen track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stepping Lilac tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Galaxyland Zipper that came steaming ahead. Herrhagens Leif was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Cosmic Sparkle was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nivala Aili sprinted to the front.

Herrhagens Leif took the lead after 1000m. Falling Thrasher didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Elsemiek was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Nivala Aili was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Jour Au Mauvais showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Herrhagens Leif today. It continued in the lead.

Stepping Lilac put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Gauthier speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Jour Au Mauvais galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Gauthier kept the speed the whole finish and won before Galaxyland Zipper and Falling Thrasher.
