The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ask For Permission found a gap and took the lead. Makes A Difference followed before Devenir. Ask For Permission suddenly started to galop. Stefan Persson had to struggle to get Ask For Permission to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




Hippolyte saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Gold Runner took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gold Runner today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Ask For Permission gallopped for 40 m.



Gold Runner kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Makes A Difference sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
