One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Ace took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Running Plan, Little Crazy, Steel Pain, Gold Runner, Steel Devil, Running Ace, Makes A Difference, Slow Power. A bird flew just in front of Blue Moon Warrior who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Tarmac who started to galop and lost 30 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Little Crazy took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Little Crazy followed by Steel Pain and Steel Devil. Lane two Running Ace followed by Slow Power and Blue Moon Warrior.




Slow Power suddenly took over the lead. Running Ace showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Tarmac was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m. Gold Runner was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



Blue Moon Warrior speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Slow Power sprinted over the finishline before Steel Pain and Devenir.
