One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Sergeant found a gap and took the lead. Elif followed before Precambrian.




Elif was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falling Sergeant followed by Elif and Rainking. Lane two Precambrian followed by Tainturier and Curare On Fire.



Falling Sergeant sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Rainking kept the speed the whole finish and won before Falling Sergeant and Precambrian.
