The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kalmar this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Trembling Lady tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Armand that came steaming ahead. Focused Legend suddenly started to galop. Kim Eriksson had to struggle to get Focused Legend to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Trembling Lady saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Focused Legend took the lead rather easily.

Focused Legend was still in the lead after 1500m. Armand galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Durch Den Wald galloped for 50 m.

Focused Legend sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Penne Rigate galoped for 40 m. Focused Legend looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Penne Rigate won. Focused Legend came in second. Trembling Lady caught third place.
