One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Red was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Jongeheer Vleug was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Chantal, Jongeheer Vleug, Yellow Jacket, Raidens Too-ticki, Dead Stone, Speeding Hyena, Running Red, Misfit. A bird flew just in front of Chantal who started to galop and lost 10 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Jongeheer Vleug took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Jongeheer Vleug followed by Speeding Hyena and Yellow Jacket. Lane two Dead Stone followed by Chantal and Running Red.




Dead Stone seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Jongeheer Vleug to trotting so they were disqualified.



Dead Stone were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Dead Stone didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
