One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Citizen Nasri tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Verona Hof that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Citizen Nasri sprinted to the front. Helka sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Verona Hof galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Citizen Nasri looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Citizen Nasri started to gallop after 1500m and Per Lennartsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Helka gallopped for 30 m. Sleepy Daffodil suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Sleepy Daffodil kept the speed the whole finish and won before Citizen Nasri and Verona Hof.
