The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rainbow Amazon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Magnus Jakobsson wanted a little to much in the start and Fly To Bali galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Loving Runner, Dragonslayer Pps, Maximum Hero, Felicia Lonfon, Fly To Bali, Deathpilot, Lucy Lore, Striking Lily.

Striking Lily sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Felicia Lonfon suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Striking Lily was still in the lead after 1500m.

Felicia Lonfon was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Striking Lily were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Robert Bergh tried a little too much on the homestretch and Loving Runner started to galopp and lost 20 m. Fly To Bali showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

No-one could catch Striking Lily today who won before Rainbow Amazon and Deathpilot.
