One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gonzo Boston found a gap and took the lead. Étoile De Mer followed before Surrounded By Light.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Surrounded By Light sprinted to the front.




Aisle Stand looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Étoile De Mer couldn't come out from behind the leader, Surrounded By Light.



Honourable Frenzy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gonzo Boston couldn't come out from behind the leader, Étoile De Mer.






Honourable Frenzy won the race after a spectacular finish.
